About John

Hello my name is John and I’m a local Sarasota tennis coach with over 30 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also an active member of both the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) and the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. I played NCAA collegiate tennis where I served as co-captain of my team. I received my USPTA teaching certification back in 1992 as well as the award for Outstanding Tennis Instruction at Clemson University that same year. I also received my professional training while employed at Tennis Corporation of America and was awarded a sponsorship by Wilson Sporting Goods. I have instructed both adults and juniors of all ages, including both state and nationally ranked players. I have a passion for teaching and I am known for my patience, positive reinforcement and ability to achieve great results.

I am available to give tennis lessons locally in the Sarasota area & will also travel up to 5 miles to a local tennis court located near you.
