About Panashe
Hello my name is Panashe and I am a fun, local Raleigh tennis coach with over 18 years of playing experience & over 6 years of teaching experience! I started playing tennis at age 6 in Mutare, Zimbabwe. When I was 15 years old, I started to play tennis on the Junior U18 ITF (International Tennis Federation) Circuit. When I was 18, I came to the United States through an athletic scholarship playing for Prairie State College in the 1, 2 and 6 singles flight and the 1 & 3 doubles flight.
In 2020, I transferred to Shaw University were I played 3, 4 and 5 singles as well as 1 & 3 doubles. I started coaching tennis during the summer of 2019 in Chicago. Thereafter, I have coached every other summer at Boerne Tennis in Boerne, Texas and at Wightman Tennis Center in Weston, Massachusetts. I have experience working with tennis enthusiasts of all ages and levels of play. I have worked with beginners, intermediate players and junior professionals. I have also worked with people who play tennis for health goals and in groups.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Raleigh and Clayton area but I will also travel up to 30 miles to a tennis court conveniently located near you.
