About Jerry

Hi my name is Jerry and I am a Philadelphia tennis coach ready to serve you! I have been involved in tennis for over 30 years and I am a USPTR Certified Tennis Professional. I ran an outdoor tennis club for five summers and now teach private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for most all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) & all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I’ve been involved over the years in all aspects of the great game of tennis which include teaching, playing and tennis facility overview.
I took my certification when Dennis Van Der Meer was actively running the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and I have been on men’s USTA teams for many years. I have access to indoor public courts when weather makes it necessary, but I customarily use outdoor public courts that are well maintained by the township that I live in. In my teaching, I try to mix stroke production with strategy and also introduce lesser used specialty strokes such as the topspin lob and the drop shot to give tennis players an “all court game”.

I teach in the Greater Philadelphia & Eastern Montgomery County areas and I will travel up to 15 miles. Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $60 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $30 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): Not Available
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $60 Per Hour
