About Vishel
Hello my name is Vishel and I am a fun, local Newport Beach tennis coach with over 45 years of playing experience and over 17 years of teaching experience! I am originally from England and I competed professionally throughout Europe for well over a decade. I’ve also trained in Southern Spain, Austria and South Florida. Since moving to Newport Beach, California I’ve had some top juniors pass through me, including one who later went on to win sectionals. Whether you need technical or tactical assistance, in order to win more matches, try me! From the first tennis lesson, I will lay out what you need to do, so you can execute your game successfully on the court. Or maybe you’re just looking for good rhythm through a hit with a few pointers!
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Newport Beach area but I will also travel up to 5 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you.
