About Hugo
Hello my name is Hugo and I am a local Lincoln tennis coach with over 16 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience. I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old in Valencia, Spain and it has been my passion ever since. I have had the opportunity to train and play at the highest level, sharing the court with players like Carlos Alcaraz and Daniel Merida before they reached their elite pro status. I have also been a sparring partner for ATP Tour players such as Carlos López Montagud and Sergi Pérez Contri, among others. I began competing in tennis at the age of 10, participating in tournaments all over Spain and Europe. At age 16, I qualified for the Spanish Championship, although it was canceled due to the pandemic. After that, I competed in several professional ITF (International Tennis Federation) level tennis tournaments before deciding to move to the United States to compete at the college level. Regarding my coaching experience, I have been working for over two years at the Manu Sala Academy in Denia, where I have trained players of all levels from beginners to ITF level competitors. My focus on court is to develop each player’s potential and using past experience in both competition and training to improve their performance on the court. This is a brief summary of my experience in the world of tennis, which has provided me with the many tools necessary to guide others on their path to excellence in this sport.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Lincoln area but I am also willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently near you.

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $30 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $25 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $50 Per Hour
