About Sarosh
Hi my name is Sarosh and I am a local Irvine tennis coach with over 11 years of playing experience and over 4 years of teaching experience! I am an aspiring professional tennis player. One my greatest joys is to help people learn how to enjoy and compete in tennis because it is a sport that has so much to offer us. I believe the best way to do this is to not just learn surface level aspects of the sport, but to dive deeper and understand the true tactical and technical mechanics that makes tennis so exciting (and so hard). By understanding these things, you might not only be able to watch and talk about tennis in a whole new way, but also be able to play tennis using the correct biomechanics (not to be confused with technique) in order to maximize your body while minimizing pain or injuries. If this sounds like something you would like to learn, this is where I step in. I am currently studying in the Irvine area and would love to learn more about you as a player so I can do my best to coach you and push you in the right direction in order for you to reach your own unique potential! I put emphasis on this because I believe that every tennis player has a set of skills that if creatively and thoughtfully maximized, will be dangerous to anyone who is on the other side of the net. I was born in South Africa, lived in England for most of my childhood & then moved to the United States around 5 years ago. For the last 4 1/2 years, I have been training at a tennis academy in Southern California, where I was living, breathing and sleeping tennis! I have been extremely lucky to be surrounded by amazing people and coaches my whole tennis journey and have picked up so much knowledge from them, including comprehensive knowledge of the biomechanics used in tennis, which I would love to share with you! I have coached & helped coach many tennis players that have come to the academy and my mission was for each one to turn into the best version of themselves as a player on tennis court.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Irvine area but I will travel up to 5 miles.
