About German
Hello my name is German and I am a local Clearwater tennis coach with over 35 years of playing experience, over 20 years of teaching experience and I have coached more than 3,000 students! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional, ITF Certified Tennis Professional, AAT Certified Tennis Professional, USTA Certified Tennis Professional and Tournament Director. In addition, I am the owner and director of a local tennis academy. I am very passionate about tennis and have studied in its techniques as well as its biomechanics applications.
I seek to improve the skill level of my players through planning, daily monitoring and consistent communication. I help my tennis players increase their skill level through analysis of their current biodynamic techniques, development of customized training goals as well as the implementation of personalized training programs through technique oriented, dynamic, intense sessions. I am committed to sharing all of my enthusiasm and all of my knowledge with the tennis community.
The fundamental tenets of my tennis lesson instruction are: Tennis starts with “LOVE”. Footwork is king. You are “only as good as your second serve”. Don’t play the player, play the court. My commitment to exceptional services, incomparable customer care and quality products keeps my tennis students coming back year after year. I never stop improving and continue to expand my offerings based on how I can best serve each of my tennis players & this fantastic sport!
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Clearwater area and I do not travel.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $85 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $50 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $40 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $85 Per Hour

*Please note that if you are interested in semi-private tennis lessons (2 players) or group tennis lessons (3+ players), you will first need to find a friend(s) to take tennis lessons with you before contacting me.
