About Matthew
Hello my name is Matthew and I am a fun, local Bala Cynwyd tennis coach with over 15 years of playing experience and over 1 year of teaching experience! I’m currently playing D1 tennis at St. Joseph’s University after competing at a high national and international level.
I have played the great game of tennis since I was 3 and have been competing in tournaments since I was 8. I’ve won 3 ITF (International Tennis Federation) doubles titles and made the finals twice. I’d love the chance to develop a young player and get the chance to watch someone improve everyday as a player/person on and off the court.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Bala Cynwyd area but I will also travel up to 12 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $60 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $30 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $25 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $50 Per Hour

*Please note that if you are interested in semi-private tennis lessons (2 players) or group tennis lessons (3+ players), you will first need to find a friend(s) to take tennis lessons with you before contacting me.
