This dream became a reality in the 1960’s when Slew became the founder of the River Hills Club in Jackson. Many prominent tennis players have competed on the courts of this historical tennis club at the great USTA Women’s Pro Circuit Challenger which attracts women from all over the world. This annual event is also part of the ITF Women’s Circuit which provides exciting entry level tennis tournaments enabling players to eventually reach the WTA Tour.
