About Tristan
Hello my name is Tristan and I am a fun, local San Diego tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience & over 9 years of teaching experience! I’m also a French Federation Certified Tennis Coach. I’m currently the Assistant Tennis Coach for the women’s tennis team at San Diego State University. I was ranked #800 on the ATP Pro Tour back in 2017 and my best UTR (Ultimate Tennis Rating) was 13.75 the same year. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018. My last professional match was against current ATP #1 Carlos Alcaraz.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons at the San Diego State University tennis courts as well as the La Jolla area and I am willing to travel up to 25 miles.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $80 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $50 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (4+ Players): $25 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $80 Per Hour
