About Arina
Hello my name is Arina and I am a local Queens tennis coach with over 17 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience! I have an impressive 17 year professional tennis playing career and offer a wealth of knowledge as well as experience to the teaching field. I recently moved from playing for Seton Hall (Division 1) to the very prestigious St. John’s University tennis team (Division 1).
My tennis career has been shaped in many ways, not only by my own accomplishments but also by my commitment to developing other people’s abilities. Having coached players of various ages and skill levels for over 5 years, I have a deep awareness of the subtleties of the game and also the customized strategies required to support my student’s development. I have had a long standing desire to help gamers advance & continuously hone their abilities. My background in educating individuals of various ages and skill levels has exposed me to a very wide range of coaching. My main motivation is to help players reach their full potential and perform better by helping them become more technically, tactically, physically and mentally strong.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons at St. John’s University but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you.
