As the home of the annual Decatur Tennis Tournament, playing tennis is one of the many fun ways residents of Decatur love to stay in shape. The Glennlake Tennis Center is the host of this exciting event that is held each year in May with five outdoor lighted courts for evening matches.
Decatur offers a plethora of fun tennis courts that are open to the public including the DeKalb Tennis Center. This premier tennis facility is the place to be with seventeen outdoor tennis courts that are center stage for several junior tennis tournaments held in Decatur which include the North Atlanta Junior One-Day Satellite #Eight-GA Level Five and the Triumph-N-Tennis Forty-One Junior Championships-GA Level Four which are sanctioned by the USTA.
The Triumph-N-Tennis event is open for both Boys’ and Girls’ 14-18 Singles and Boys’ and Girls’ 12 and Under Singles regardless of ranking with a sixteen draw limit for all types of age groups. All of the tennis players are then placed in two matches with the Feed In Championship Quarter Finals consolation tennis match format.
